ROBOTIC FORKLIFTS AUTOMATED PALLET TRANSPORT DELIVERY ROBOTS

AUTOMATED MATERIALS HANDLING

Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) - The Future of Smart Material Handling

Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) are self-navigating machines designed to move materials, components, or finished goods safely and efficiently within industrial environments. Unlike traditional AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), which rely on fixed paths or magnetic tape, AMRs use advanced sensors, cameras, and onboard intelligence to dynamically understand and navigate their surroundings. This means they can reroute in real time, avoid obstacles, and adapt instantly to changes on the factory or warehouse floor, no costly infrastructure required.

For manufacturers, logistics providers, and warehouses under pressure to increase output and reduce labor bottlenecks, AMRs deliver measurable results. They streamline internal transport, eliminate wasted motion, and free up human workers for higher-value tasks. Whether it’s moving pallets between workstations, delivering parts to assembly lines, or handling repetitive material transfers, AMRs operate 24/7 with precision and consistency.

Investing in AMRs isn’t just automation, it’s scalability. These systems integrate seamlessly with warehouse management software, ERP systems, and IoT platforms, enabling data-driven decisions and full process visibility. As labor costs rise and space efficiency becomes critical, AMRs are rapidly becoming the cornerstone of next-generation industrial automation.

At Quantum Robotics, our mission is to deliver the world’s most reliable, innovative, and cost-effective automation solutions to the Australian market. Proudly brand-agnostic, we can stay independent and unbiased in recommending the best technology for your needs.

Every solution we suggest is proven in real-world environments and supported by strong local service networks. Our focus is always on performance, reliability, and optimal return on investment.

The following brands are all leading robot manufacturers with proven track records of over 100,000 robots deployed worldwide.

At Quantum Robotics, we proudly support these brands because they are proven to deliver value for money, advanced innovation and, most importantly, operational dependability.

Pudu T300 & 600 Series Delivery Robots

The Pudu T300 is an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) purpose-built for industrial material handling and internal logistics. It combines robust payload capacity with advanced navigation and flexible operational modes to streamline repetitive transport tasks.

Similar to Keenon, Pudu has over 90,000 robots deployed worldwide.

Key Benefits:

  • 300 kg payload capacity – handles larger or heavier loads with ease
  • Advanced VSLAM+ and LiDAR navigation – precise, reliable indoor positioning and obstacle avoidance
  • Multiple operational modes:
    • Autonomous delivery for point-to-point transport
    • Follow Me mode for dynamic workflows
    • Power-assist (towing mode) for trolley tugging/cart pulling
  • Runtime: Up to 12 hours (no load) with quick 2-hour charging for maximum uptime
  • Safety compliance: Meets ISO 3691-4 standards for driverless industrial trucks
  • Supports IoT integration (elevator calls, automatic doors) for seamless facility automation
  • Simple deployment with minimal infrastructure changes
  • User-friendly – easy for staff to learn and adopt

T600

The T600 is similar in function as the T300 although slightly longer in wheelbase and designed for heavier loads up to 600Kgs.

Omron LD AMRs

The Omron LD series is designed for dynamic material transport in factories, warehouses, and hospitals. Manufactured in Japan, Omron AMRs are compact, safe, and highly adaptable.

Key Benefits:

  • Easy deployment, minimal infrastructure changes.
  • Fleet management for multi-robot coordination.
  • ISO 3691-4 safety compliance.
  • Runtime up to 12 hours with quick charging.

Key Models:

LD-60/90 – Payload 60–90kg, advanced navigation, obstacle avoidance.

LD-250 – Payload 250kg, strong chassis, ideal for industrial trolleys and carts.

LD-1500 – Payload 250kg, strong chassis, ideal for industrial trolleys and carts.

MiR

Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR) are highly flexible, collaborative AMRs for heavy-duty internal logistics. Manufactured in Denmark and trusted worldwide, MiR robots are high quality and designed to optimise productivity and safety.

Key Benefits:

  • Advanced LiDAR + 3D camera navigation.

  • Seamless integration with doors, lifts, and ERP/WMS.

Key Models:

AGV | AMR | AGF | Automated Forklifts | Pallet-Jacks | Tuggers

repeated movements of heavy materials. They can replace and/or work alongside your existing fleet of forklifts and individually offer impressive ROI.

As mentioned, Quantum is brand agnostic so there are several OEMs and models of automated forklifts/pallet jackets we can potentially show you. However, VisionNav the most popular brand at the moment. They are disrupting the autonomous forklift market because they are the most technologically advanced and also 40%+ cheaper than their nearest rival. Based in China, VisionNav currently have 1,000+ vehicles installed globally, and we have been working with them for the past 18 months since launching here in Australia. Recent sales include Vinidex, Mars and Sealed Air (yet to be installed).

The VisionNav fleet management system allows you to coordinate multiple vehicles and journeys simultaneously. If required, it can be integrated with your WMS system and other warehouse control systems. Alternatively, it can also operate as a stand-alone platform autonomously if that is your preference.

This video showcases all the different VisionNav vehicles.

These are the three vehicles that are most popular for intra and inter-warehouse transport:

VisionNav VNSL 14 Slim Pallet-Jack (Standard & Wide Leg)

VisionNav VNSL14
VSNL14 Slim Pallet Jack

Perfect for simple floor to floor pallet transportation and loading and unloading trucks, etc. Can also transport trolleys. NB: Chep pallets need to be mounted on a stand or conveyor with Standard version).

  • 1,400 kg capacity, lifts up to ~3 m
  • Compact for narrow aisles (~2.2 m), turning radius ~1.2 m
  • Ideal for tight warehouse spaces
  • 3D SLAM, ±10 mm precision, and optional IoT integrations.

VisionNav VNE20 – Counter Balance Indoor/Outdoor Forklift

As you can see from the video, this vehicle is very similar to the forklifts you probably already have on site, just driverless. It operates comfortably outdoors over long distances. It can also operate in ‘manual mode’.

VisionNav VNQ 60/100/200 Autonomous Indoor/Outdoor Tuggers

As this VNQ200 video demonstrates, this vehicle perfect for towing large capacity trolleys and/or trailers (up to 10,000 Kg payload) either indoors or outdoors.
