Increased Productivity for any business + Tangible Benefits to Staff and Customers
24 x 7
Works tirelessly handling deliveries, room service, chaperoning guests, in-room dining requests and housekeeping support.
Self-Managed Charging
Automatic docking to recharge for continuous usage time keeps you, your staff and guests supported around the clock.
Autonomous Navigation
Independently moves safely around your environment, constantly assessing to prevent collisions with people, furniture, equipment and other robots.
Thousands of possibilities to drive productivity.
Omron mobile robots provide a new level of efficiency and cost savings when it comes to moving goods around large facilities. This unique family of mobile robots was developed for rapid, reliable materials transport 24/7, and can self-navigate in even the most dynamic environments.
The Omron LD mobile robot can be programmed and functional within a day. Easy to configure, the system can be customized for a variety applications and payloads by OEMs, Integrators and capable end users alike. Manufacturing, warehousing, clean tech, and laboratories are just a few environments ideal for the Omron LD mobile robot.
Omron mobile robots increase throughput, reduce machine dwell time, eliminate errors and improve material traceability.
Why are Omron mobile robots the most advanced Autonomous Intelligent Vehicles?
Omron LD Series Mobile Robots are self-navigating Autonomous Intelligent Vehicles (AIV), designed to transform manufacturing and logistics.Mapping and Navigation: Robust Navigation With Acuity (Patented)
Acuity provides an additional method of ‘localisation’ to the on-board laser, helping the robot adjust to frequently changing environments.
It identifies overhead lights and overlays the ‘light map’ with the ‘floor map’. It also allows the robots to move easily across wide-open areas in large warehouses. Unlike traditional autonomously guided vehicles (AGVs) or automated guided carts (AGCs), the Omron LD mobile robot requires no facility modifications, such as floor magnets or navigational beacons, saving users up to 15% in deployment costs.

Safety
Omron mobile robots are fully safety compliant*. They use an on-board laser and other sensors to detect obstacles in their path and, based on speed of travel, trigger an E-stop to prevent vehicle collision.
Sensors:
- Safety Rated Main Laser
- Lower Laser, Rear Laser
- Side Lasers (Patented)
- Front Bumper, Rear Sonar
* Safety std: ISO 12100, ISO 14121-2, ISO 13849-1, IEC 61010 (battery only), IEC 60950 (battery only), EN 1525, ANSI B56.5 Part 3, JIS D 6802, IEC 60204
Fleet Management
Enterprise Manager is a network appliance that provides coordination of mobile robots while providing traceability, job allocation and traffic control across the entire fleet. The LD includes Omron’s proprietary software and controls allowing it to intelligently navigate around people and unplanned obstacles that may render traditional AGVs incapacitated.
- Transport Request (Job) Allocation: Distributes across multiple mobile robots by selecting the best vehicle to perform the job.
- Traffic Control: Optimizes traffic flow of vehicles.
Communications: Single point of contact for integration with factory systems (MES, WMS, ERP, etc.). - MobilePlanner: PC-based software user interface to manage the robot or the fleet.
